The weather starts to turn nice, and we all want to spend time outside--not in the classroom, not in an office, and definitely not in the kitchen (especially when you have to work longer days because of the looming deadlines!)
And this is where my oh-so-imaginative (haha!) technique comes in. Put out a selection of meats, cheeses, spreads, breads, veggies, and fruit out and let everyone dig in! After a long day at work, it's awfully nice to lay out the already prepared ingredients, pour a glass of wine, and sit out under our newly budding maple tree. That's what I call an oasis in the midst of end-of-year chaos!
